About this event

The use of NEC3 contracts continues to rise rapidly in New Zealand. The NEC Australasia Users' Group conference is an opportunity for the community to come together to share best practice, explore opportunities, and get the latest insights from industry case studies and experts.

This year's conference will take place at the Commodore Airport Hotel in Christchurch on 5 November.

Programme highlights include:

  • A pre-conference site visit at the Christchurch Arts Centre hosted by the Christchurch City Council.
  • A keynote presentation on the Australasian market from Anooj Oodit, Managing Director, Turner & Townsend - Australia.
  • The Christchurch Town Hall Restoration Project will be presented by Patrick Cantillon, Senior Project Manager, Christchurch City Council.
  • Matthew Heal, Practice Area Lead, Programme Management, AECOM, will look at lessons learnt from the UK Olympics project with practical examples related to New Zealand
  • Chris More, Renewable Options Manager, Meridian Energy, will provide a commercial overview and lessons from his experience of the close out process at the Mill Creek Wind Farm.
