About this event

During the ECI phase major changes were made, saving millions of pounds in Statutory Undertaker diversions. This has enabled the development of an improved scheme at lower costs.

Project Director Welsh Government Transport Directorate.

Senior Manager responsible for major Welsh Government Highway Schemes across North and Mid Wales. He is responsible for the successful delivery of strategic transport/highway schemes which have a major impact on the economy of Wales.

Peris leads a team within the Welsh Government co-ordinating with designers/contractors and specialist sub-consultants.

Peris is also responsible for the delivery of the Newtown Bypass as Project Director.

I am a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 20 years of experience in contracting. Prior to that I served with the Royal Engineers which was where I got the passion for civil engineering. I am the Major Projects Director for Alun Griffiths Contractors, and am currently managing the ECI stages of a number of schemes for WG, along with other major projects in the region.
