  • The proposed Northern Quarter development; new station access (the northern access road), Station Square, cycle point and IBIS hotel.
  • How these schemes were brought forward and the challenges faced to open up the land for development.
  • The structural design of the IBIS building and challenges over the interface with the adjacent railway
  • Construction of the IBIS building and interfaces with adjacent railway.
  • Station Square; what is it, facilities, urban landscape, public protection, bus gate system and interface with Cambridge University
  • Construction of the square and challenges with phasing and managing general public.
  • Greater Anglia's station upgrade and use of cycle point and Station Square.
