Pitch 200 UK final, Belfast

About this event

Do you have a natural curiosity for how things work? Want to know more about how engineering is integrated into our daily lives? Or perhaps you’d just like to gain an insight into new and interesting ideas? If so, Pitch 200 is for you.

We're putting engineers’ creativity to the test in a challenge to give the best demonstration of what they do - in 200 seconds (or less)!

Hosted by award winning science communicator and radio host Emer Maguire, you’re invited to the Pitch 200 UK Final to see how talented engineers from around the UK showcase their work in the most curious and unconventional way.

The winner on the day will need to impress not only you, but our panel of judges:

Mark Simpson, BBC News TV Reporter
Imogen Graves, 2018 Pitch 200 Global Grand final winner and Assistant Design Manager at J Murphy & Sons Ltd
Emer Murnaghan, ICE Vice President and Head of Responsible Sustainable Business at GRAHAM

Entry is free but booking is required, so do join us on Tuesday 22 October and have your eyes opened by the world of engineering.

To help those based elsewhere, the event will be broadcast live online and viewers will be able to vote for their favourite via sli.do. Please book and select ‘viewing event online’ when registering. We will send you the broadcast link ahead of the event.
