British Hydropower Association - Protecting the environment, supporting rural communities, Poole

About this event

Hydropower, or water power, is one of the most reliable, predictable and least environmentally intrusive of all the renewable energy technologies and the British Hydropower Association (BHA) works to ensure that the full potential, associated economic, environmental and community benefits are fully realised.

The BHA is the only UK trade membership association focusing solely on the demands of the hydropower sector, and it represents the best interests of its growing membership, who in turn can call upon the association for independent and experienced advice. The BHA actively works to promote and safeguard hydropower for this and future generations.

Based in Bangor on Dee, just south of Chester, Simon has been CEO of the BHA since January 2014, with two terriers and two young children. He enjoys, when time permits, a love of music, cricket, football, skiing, walking, running and clay and game shooting.
