Looking at the strategic development of railways in Hong Kong

About this event

In light of the rapidly growing population density in Hong Kong, there is a widespread discussion on the necessity as well as the feasibility of railway development in the future. The expansion of railway network is anticipated to strategically tackle the saturation of the current public transport network and the regional transport connectivity to the central business districts.

ICE HKA G&S is honoured to invite a Mr Stephen Chik, General Manager from MTR Corporation Limited to present the strategic railway development in Hong Kong and foresee the feasibility of railway network in the future. This will be a good opportunity for participants to interact with the corporate's management level staff and gain insights in evaluation of both merit and drawback of a future project.

  • Registration will be on a first-come-first-served basis and priority will be given to ICE graduate and student members
  • Applicants with no-show records will be given lower priority in future G&S events.
