About this event

Becoming a qualified member of ICE (MICE) is a career milestone for civil engineers. It also marks the international recognition for one’s engineering knowledge, ability and skills.

This seminar aims to introduce different paths to become Chartered Engineer (CEng) and a qualified member of ICE (MICE). The Membership Development Officer of ICE Hong Kong, Ms Shirley Cheng, will explain the chartership requirements regarding education, work experience and professional review. The talk will also cover the continuous professional development (CPD) and preparation of the Chartered Professional Review (CPR) submission, interview and examination.

From the seminar, graduates and students can learn about how to best equip themselves for fulfilling the requirements during the Initial Professional Development (IPD) and taking CPR.

  • Capacity: 150
  • Registration will be confirmed on a first-come-first-served basis and priority will be given to ICE graduate and student members
  • Only successful applicant will receive confirmation e-mail
  • Attendance certificates will be provided for this event
  • Applicants with no-show records will be given lower priority in future G&S events
