About this event

This presentation will cover:

  • The organisation models developed in response to the change of the CDM Regulations;
  • The advantages and disadvantages of those organisational models;
  • Demonstrable Skills, Knowledge, Experience & Training (Competence);
  • Practical advice and tools for good practice;

Chris Lawson is the Anglia Regional Chair and a member of the National Council of the Association for Project Safety, he has 35+ years within the construction industry, initially as a building surveyor/project manager and design team manager before taking on responsibility for the company's Health & Safety Management following the introduction of CDM1994. He then moved into safety enforcement and in 1999, utilising both his design & project management skills combined with enforcement experience to derive a practical approach to legal compliance for projects as a SHE consultant and has since worked with a variety of clients predominantly in the renewable energy sectors.
