From its inception in Autumn 2009 to projected completion in winter 2016, the Selkirk Flood Protection Scheme was the first scheme with an Environmental Statement to be taken forward under the Flood Risk Management (Scotland) Act 2009.
CH2M provided the design, consultation and site supervision services over the entire project period to deliver a scheme which protects over 600 properties from the effects of the one-in-200-year-plus climate change flood event.
