Site Visit: Severn Trent Water Newark Strategy - visit one, Newark-on-Trent

2 October, 2017 | 12:30 - 15:00

Site visit to Severn Trent Water
Site visit to Severn Trent Water's Newark project

About this event

The ICE G&S Committee are proud to offer the first of two site visits to Severn Trent Water's £60m Newark Waste and Water Improvement Project. This huge scheme offers 2.5miles of tunnels, 5 miles of new sewers and 6 miles of new water mains, helping reduce the risk of sewer flooding and securing safe water supplies for years to come.

Don't miss this opportunity to see BNM Alliance's recently launched 160-tonne, 2.85m diameter tunnel boring machine.

Confirming Your Attendance - use the 'Book now' button on the event webpage.

Please note that places on this highly anticipated site visit are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. You can only book onto one site visit and you will need to provide your own PPE (safety boots, safety helmet, gloves and high visibility jacket).

If you do book and find that you are unable to attend, please inform ice.eastmidlands@ice.org.uk as others may want to attend the visit.
