About this event

Event fully booked

Please note: this event is now fully booked.

State of the Nation 2020: Infrastructure and the Net-Zero Target will examine the contribution of the UK’s economic infrastructure networks in meeting net-zero emissions by 2050, including an assessment of their current environmental impact.

The net-zero target is significant for the UK’s economic infrastructure networks as they currently contribute a large proportion of total annual emissions. For example, transport and electricity from power stations alone were responsible for 33% and 18% of all emissions respectively in 2018 – more than half of the UK’s total.

Join us to discuss the need for policy change and the significant challenges that this represents.

This is your chance to put a regional input into the national ICE report which will be published later in the year.
