About this event

Jayne Dooley will explain how LJMU is encouraging all students on their built environment courses from real estate management through to civil engineers to embrace BIM through multidisciplinary group work using BIM enabling software.

Dennis Kristensen will then guide you through the BIM process for structural BIM - from the importance of a high quality BIM model, to export and finally the design of all load carrying members.

Time: Refreshments will be served from 18:00 for a meeting start of 18:30

Dennis Kirsten

Dennis graduated with a B.Sc in Structural Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark in 2008 and began working as a Structural Engineer at EKAS, Denmark. He became Vice President of Strusoft Denmark in 2012.

Jayne Dooley

Jane is a chartered civil engineer with 11 years of industrial experience working mostly in the water industry in both the public sector and in private practice. Jayne left industry 9 years ago to teach on construction and civil engineering courses in Further and Higher Education.
