The “Sustainable and Smart City” concept is becoming a serious consideration in many governmental and business agenda in recent years due to rapid urbanisation in Asia Pacific. Singapore is a forefront role model in the sustainable development and is ranked first in Asia and fourth globally in the Sustainable Cities Index 2018.
ICE HKA is organising a delegation to Singapore from 20 to 23 November 2019 with the theme “Engineering of Sustainable Development and Smart Future”. The delegation aims to explore how Singapore manages to turn the dreams into reality from the engineering perspective. Delegates will have opportunities to interact with the authorities, local consultants, and contractors, as well as witnessing some exciting projects, including Waste-to-Energy Plant, Desalination Plant and Modular Integrated Construction (MiC). We expect our delegates to gain an enhanced understanding of sustainable development through a series of technical and networking events.
