About this event

Hong Kong, as a densely populated metropolis with limited land supply, is facing huge challenges in development for raising standard of living. Problems such as congested area, underground obstructions, substantial untreated waste and depleting natural resources are common in development nowadays but complex and hard to tackle.

Fortunately, over the past decades, engineers have been proactively looking for feasible and optimal solutions to tackle these issues in order to sustain long-term development of this city.

In this seminar, speakers will present how sustainability concepts are incorporated into the engineering solutions in planning, design and construction stages by sharing several real civil projects.
