Sydney Metro: What to do with Central station? Sydney

About this event

Presenters Daniel Powrie (Project Delivery Director) MICE, Thomas Lee (Senior Design Manager) MICE and Connie Klonis (Architectural Design Manager) will talk about how heritage, community and customers have driven a station design which will provide a world class experience to Sydney commuters, and how geographic, logistical and operational conditions have led to an innovative engineering solution.

The Sydney Metro upgrade to Central Station represents the biggest improvement to the station in decades – making it easier for customers to connect between light rail, suburban and inter-city trains, the new Sydney Metro and buses. Sydney Metro services start at Central Station in 2024.

There will also be an opportunity for some networking and to continue the conversation in a local hotel after the presentation. The location will be announced on the night.

Please arrive early for a prompt 6pm start.
