Temporary works for demolition, Preston

About this event

The presentation will feature short case studies on a number of significant demolition schemes, namely:

  1. Partial demolition of Birmingham New Street Station;
  2. Tottenham Hotspur FC stadium demolition;
  3. Waterloo International Redevelopment works;

We will also feature particularly interesting items from other smaller schemes, particularly where we have good videos of large structures being collapsed in a controlled manner.

The presentation will feature photos, videos and technical discussion on the schemes. There will also be a section covering temporary works failures, and any learning that can be taken from this.

Parking: University Parking for the event is available. Please note that the designated car park is a short walk from the University and is located off Victoria Street (PR1 7HD). A downloadable ‘free’ car-parking permit will be uploaded to the events webpage.

Organised by ICE Lancashire branch.
