About this event

The Institution of Civil Engineers was founded on 2nd January 1818 and was the world's first professional engineering body. It has been a model for similar organisations all over the world.

Come to this event and find out how the Institution came into being, how it has since evolved and the ethics that successfully underpin it.

This is a popular and inspirational talk, which is a must for aspiring engineers, especially for all those under training agreements as this event may contribute towards the completion of Development Objective E1 or Member Attribute 9A

Please note: This event is free to attend and refreshments will be provided from 6:00pm

Please note: This is a change to the previously advertised date.

Speaker: Hugh Ferguson.
