The history of ICE, Bristol

About this event

Join us for a talk on the history of the Institution of Civil Engineers. ICE was founded on 2nd January 1818 and was the world's first professional engineering body. It has been a model for similar organisations all over the world. Come to this event and find out why your Institution came into being and how it has evolved.

This is a popular and inspirational talk which is a must for aspiring engineers, especially all those under training agreements.

This event may contribute towards the completion of Development Objective E1 or attribute 9.

Join us at 17.30 for refreshments. Presentation will start at 18.00.
