About this event

The New Victoria Theatre is a 20th century piece of architectural engineering constructed in the midlands. It was the first purpose built theatre-in-the round in the UK, and flew an early flag for green conservation.

With a striking interior, it embodies simple principles of Vitruvian form, and a wide range of design and construction techniques which areas appropriate today as they were then.
