About this event

Speaker

Amy Nettleship of Ove Arup

Amy will discuss the ground investigations carried out to date including the fault characterisation borehole, the geohazards identified and geotechnical details associated with designing a new tunnel that will deliver polyhalite to ships on the River Tees through the heart of the Jurassic Coast.

Trips to the Boulby Potash Mine, set up by ICE, have made fascinating visits, but now we have an opportunity to discover the truth behind many snippets of news.

This lecture will cover subjects that will interest all fields, whether chemical, processing, mining, tunnelling, geotechnical engineering, geology or the many facets of structural and civil engineering.

Following the lecture, Teesside's AGM will take place.
