Trenchless technology - Wessex Water, Bath

About this event

The latest techniques of survey included concepts of Artificial Intelligence ‘Sewer defect recognition algorithms’ through to ‘Dense Point Cloud’ surveys and autonomous driven CCTV platforms. The trenchless technology interventions of repair have proved major savings in CO2 Carbon footprint and excavation avoidance, mitigating the impact of our necessary works on the public and commuters.

Working worldwide through the International Society for Trenchless Technology, has allowed rapid adoption of many new concepts, most recently, the provision of fine veneers of Calcium Aluminate Cement to resist biogenic corrosion.
