About this event

In this presentation, Eric Wu describes the different applications and types of tunnels, as well as varied construction methodologies and design considerations. The use of non-circular tunnel boring machine will also be presented.

Hopefully by the end of the presentation, one would appreciate that tunnels are not just a long hole in the ground and design of tunnels requires a multitude of engineering skills.
