Our learning is structured around these key areas:
Courses, workshops and membership surgeries to help you achieve professional qualification.
Access videos covering key areas of professional qualification.
Courses, help and advice to advance your career no matter what stage you are at.
Specialist training courses let you learn new skills and add to your personal development.
Earn new qualifications to boost your career and demonstrate your abilities.
If you are a graduate, student, or apprentice you are invited to join us at our committee meet and greet event, where you can meet the newly appointed ICE Thames Valley Graduates, Students and Apprentices Committee.
This is a great chance to find out about activities and upcoming events and courses that we are planning to organise over the next year. It would also be great to get your thoughts and feedback on what you would like to see over the coming year so we can tailor it to your needs and enhance the opportunities afforded to you, and our members.
You could also volunteer to help us organise and run activities, giving you the opportunity to develop your leadership, management and communication skills which can later be used as evidence towards numerous ICE Attributes. Furthermore, it would enable to you begin to develop your network within the industry and demonstrate your Professional Commitment (Attribute 7 - formerly 9) when applying to become an Incorporated/ Chartered Engineer later in your careers.
We will be meeting at 28AP02 (Austin Pearce Building) , University of Surrey, GU2 7XH, from 18:00. Food and refreshments will be provided. Please include any dietary requirements when booking onto this event.
For further information about this and any other aspects of the meeting, contact Alviya Isieva: [email protected]
You are encouraged to take a lateral flow test within 48 hours before attending the event and strongly advised to wear a face covering for the duration of the event – except when seated, eating & drinking, and/or presenting.
