In honour of ICE 200, Joe Mahon and Westway Films have produced 'Ulster Giants,' an 8-part series about how civil engineers have transformed Northern Ireland. The series will begin on UTV this July, but as a special treat, ICE is inviting you to an early screening of the first episode. The event is also part of Translink's Bus + Train Week, which runs from 4-10 June 2018.
Drinks and canapés will be served from 7pm, with the event beginning at 7:30pm. In addition to the episode screening, the evening will include words from Joe Mahon and ICE Northern Ireland Chairman Philip Brown.
The first episode of 'Ulster Giants' will feature the Lissummon Tunnel and Craigmore Viaduct in County Armagh. Contributors include ICE Past Chairman Dr Phil Donald, Mark Atkinson of Translink, and Jonathan Hobbs of NI Greenways.
Other episodes include sites such as the Lagan Weir, Newry Canal, Foyle Bridge, Crookedstone Solar Energy Farm, and more.
Please RSVP for your place at this celebratory event.
