Water Resources East – long term strategic planning, Cambridge

About this event

WRE is the first project of its type in the UK, aligning with Government thinking on abstraction reform and highlighting the need for water resources decision-making to benefit from greater collaboration and integration with land management. WRE was set up to explore regional vulnerabilities to multiple sectors in the East of England, and to create solutions and opportunities through collaborative multi-sector decision-making.

Mott MacDonald is working with other consultants and Universities to deliver this project. The talk will focus on the water resources planning challenge, the stakeholder shared vision process and part of the integrated water resources modelling that underpins it.
