A transformational infrastructure project – Western Sydney International Airport, Sydney

About this event

Construction of Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport is now underway. Set to open in 2026, the airport is a transformational infrastructure project that will generate economic activity, provide employment opportunities closer to home for people in the Western Sydney region, and meet Sydney's growing aviation needs.

Join us to hear more about this exciting project from Bechtel's Mai Yeung, a recognised leader in airfield ground lighting. Mai has over 35 years of professional engineering experience, having worked on 14 airports and 12 defence airfields in the ANZ region and 5 international airports in the Asia Pacific region.
