About this event

This golf competition, which has been run for over 80 years, is open to all members, associate members etc. of the above Institutions. It is also an opportunity for individuals and contractors, consultants and others serving the construction industry to invite guests to enjoy lunch, golf and dinner.

There are opportunities for new sponsors to provide support. Please contact Chris Davies on 07913 234833 or c.d.davies@btinternet.com for further details.

This is a combined ICE North West and CIHT North West golf day.

  • Participating ICE members will have the opportunity to qualify for the ICE North West team, to play in the ICE Northern Region's Tournament at Penrith Golf Club on 7 June.
  • CIHT members will also be playing for the Robin Parkinson Trophy (best CIHT member individual score) and the Sir James Drake Trophy (team trophy).

The event is a Stableford Competition with full handicap to a maximum of 24. The first group will tee off at 12.56hrs. The cost for 18 holes of golf, soup and sandwich lunch, prizes and a 2 – course presentation dinner is £55 per head, the same as the previous four years.

Kirkby Lonsdale Golf Club is near Barbon on the A683, just north of Kirkby Lonsdale, six miles from junction 36 on the M6. The course measures 6600 yards off the competition tees. It is located in the Yorkshire Dales National Park in the picturesque Lune Valley. The spectacular views of the surrounding fells make it a special place to play golf. There are excellent practice facilities including a driving range and a short game chipping area.

Please book online.
