About this event

This talk provides an excellent overview of CDM 2015 as a refresher for those preparing for Chartered Professional Review or generally.

CDM 2015 places the onus on the client to ensure HS&W are properly addressed throughout the various stages of the project. Most clients need professional advice on how to set up suitable management arrangements 'so that health, safety and welfare is secured'. Since April 2015 ICE has taken up the challenge of developing its members (and others) to deliver CDM in a more effective and efficient manner.

Our speaker, Tony Putsman, will explain how life-long learning, formal training and professional assessment enables institution members to lead project teams through the construction risk management process, as well as giving an overview of CDM 2015 and how it applies practically, as well as legally, to Clients, Consultants and Contractors.

Tony Putsman [BSc.(Hons.), MICE, C Eng) is a risk management consultant, member of the ICE Health & Safety Expert Panel community and CDM 2015 trainer. In 2015 ICE published the 2nd edition of his book 'Teamwork not Paperwork' under the new title 'Practical Guide to Using the CDM Regulations 2015'
