About this event

This presentation will examine the developments leading to the manufacture of wind turbine blades in Hull. It will look at the construction of the manufacturing facility itself from an engineering perspective and talk through the fit-out of the facility and manufacture of blades.

The speaker will provide an overview of taking delivery of towers, nacelles and blades from abroad and, ultimately, pre-assembly at the dock prior to shipment and installation in the North Sea.
