Written Exercise Discussion Group Autumn/Winter 2021, online

About this event

Get the best advice from people in the know…
This course is aimed at preparing attendees for the written exercise element of their ICE professional review. The course aims to broaden the attendee’s understanding and awareness of the Technical, Managerial, Commercial, and Societal aspects of civil engineering. The course will also give the attendees an overview of what to expect during their professional review, and will give attendees the opportunity to improve their writing skills with two sessions focused on English and Grammar. Towards the end of the course, attendees will be provided with mock written exercise questions, and the final session will involve a mock review undertaken by ICE Reviewers.
Due to high demand, early booking is recommended. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. However, priority will be given to delegates sitting their reviews in Scotland.
The Communications Task will not be discussed during this course. The course will focus on the Written Exercise and those sitting their review in 2021 only.
Cost: £40 inc. VAT per Delegate for all sessions
Date/Time: 29th June – 17th August 2021, 18:00-20:00 weekly on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings. (Full Schedule to be issued to attendees closer to the time)
Venue: Due to current restrictions, sessions will be hosted through Microsoft Teams. Please note as a result of this, each delegate’s email address will be shared with all attendees in virtual meeting invites.
Meeting joining open from 17:45 for a 18:00 start.
