About this event

The A40 Over Roundabout Capacity improvement scheme is designed to reduce congestion on both the A40 and A417 and builds on an earlier scheme delivered by Highways England (HE) to improve one arm of the roundabout. The scheme includes lane widening and reassignment as well as improvements to street lighting, drainage and will also be combined with a HE funded resurfacing scheme.

Presentation by Chris Riley, Project Manager – Major Scheme, Gloucestershire County Council. Chris is the project lead for this scheme and has worked in the Highways, Transportation and Civil Engineering sectors for 17 years in roles of contractor, consultant and client and manages a portfolio of major highway projects in Gloucestershire.
