Against the background of a case study (which will be presented briefly to the audience) three authoritative expert speakers will highlight the opportunities and drawbacks presented by the different options for resolution.

In favour of adjudication

Mark Thomas
Principal, Thomas Sands Consulting Ltd, with over 35 years' experience in the building industry as Quantity Surveyor, Project Manager, Expert Witness and Adjudicator.

In favour of litigation and arbitration

David Gwillim
Partner and Solicitor Advocate, Pitmans Law, a specialist in contentious construction and engineering matters with 35 years' experience acting for owners, public authorities, private developers, funders, issuers, suppliers, architects and others.

In favour of mediation

David Richbell
Pre-eminent senior mediator, with more than 20 years' experience as a full-time mediator working across construction, property, commercial and every other commercial and non-commercial area, in the UK and overseas.
