About this event

Time and money can be saved on all projects, no matter the size.

The ability to walk around and see the virtual development at every stage can prevent costly errors which otherwise would not be discovered until it is too late...seeing is believing!

This course will give you an insight into:-

  • How VR hardware has progressed: from early development kits, to the latest hardware for both mobile, PC and wearable AR devices that will be coming to market
  • The latest software available: from stand-alone game engines like Unity 3D to plug-ins for Revit
  • How to make use of 360o Video for viewing within an HMD
  • The latest Gesture Sensing hardware allowing you to interact with your own hands within the virtual world

You will also get the chance to experiment with the latest hardware by building your own environment within Revit and exporting it to the HTC Vive.

The course will be led by Tony Coates, a qualified architectural technologist now specialising in creating visualisations within a Real-Time environment for the AEC.
