About this event

The Bournemeouth Costal Interceptor Sewer was constructed in the late 1960's and is the main artery serving to transport foul water flows between the Bournemouth catchments and Holdenhurst Sewage Treatment Works. During late 2016 and following a settlement incident at Percy Road in Boscombe it became evident that urgent repairs were required to the sewer to ensure that flows could be maintained.

The presentation will cover the previous history of the CIS and the planning and undertaking of the urgent repairs to ensure the integrity of the Costal Interceptor Sewer.
