About this event

Bristol is one of the most congested cities in the UK. Bristol Metrobus is a network of over 50km of high quality public transport, aimed at reducing this congestion. The guided busway forms around 3km of this route, running from Long Ashton Park & Ride towards the city centre. The presentation will give an overview of the wider Metrobus project, an explanation of the principles behind a guided bus and discuss some of the challenges encountered throughout the design and construction.
