About this event

The walk takes you through the Meopham countryside via Camer Park and Luddesdown, then on to Cobham for lunch. This covers approximately 5½ miles.

After lunch you proceed to the 18th century Darnley Mausoleum, to be opened for the group by the National Trust ranger and where you will learn about the extensive repair works that were required to save it from collapse. From there, walk via New College and the Almshouses of Cobham, built in 1362 and then return to Sole Street Station. The afternoon walk covers 3½ miles.

Lunch will be taken at the Leather Bottle, Cobham.
