About this event

The walk will start with a brief visit to the Museum of London in Docklands and from there to West India Dock, Isle of Dogs, Millwall Docks and the modern commercial centre – Mudchute Park and Farm, before going through the Greenwich Foot Tunnel beneath the Thames to the Cutty Sark. This covers a distance of 3.5 miles. Lunch can then be taken at a choice of local pubs and eateries.

After lunch the walk takes the Thames Path to the O2 and the Millennium Village before using the Cable Car (additional charge) across the river to the Royal Docks for a brief visit to The Crystal Exhibition. Walkers can then return to central London by DLR/Jubilee from Royal Victoria Dock or back on the Jubilee line from North Greenwich. The distance walked in the afternoon is 3 miles.
