About this event

Building Information Modelling (BIM) is about the intelligent digitisation of all aspects of construction and its artefacts, including how they are created, used, maintained and re-adapted or disposed. It is predicted to drastically reduce errors, fast-track project delivery time and save implementation costs through the enhancement of stakeholder collaborations. As such, BIM adoption in various project tasks of varying scopes is now strongly desired.

The scope of BIM applications is ever expanding to encompass numerous aspects of engineering design and collaboration. The concern, therefore, is how to connect to the world of relevant BIM applications which might be closer than stakeholders may perceive.

In this event, we shall explore some typical aspects of BIM operation and how connections for collaboration can be established through BIM applications such as in Sustainability Assessment, Cost Estimation and Project Programming.
