About this event

Technology has become integrated into our daily activities to such an extent that the workplace can feel like the dark ages. To solve this problem, Polyonic have developed a work based app for Road Reinstatement Operations and Road Traffic Management Inspections.

The app provides users with the real-time data and imagery needed to complete a project. Apps like this alleviate many paper-based administrative burdens and bring value to all parties: the contractor has data about the efficacy of their operations; the utility can be guaranteed the works are completed correctly; and the asset owner can be assured.

Paul Sutherland and Gareth James, of Polyonic, will discuss the challenges they faced in "appifying" a paper-based task, show how they cracked these problems and demonstrate these apps in action.
