About this event

Embankment is a Residential Development in the Ladywood area of Central Birmingham comprising almost one hundred apartments.

Galliford Try and consultant Patrick Parsons have invited the ICE West Midlands Graduates and Students Committee to host a guided tour and Q&A session at the construction site to discuss the construction, design and challenges of the project for a limited number of registered attendees with food and soft drinks provided.

The event will begin in Galliford Try site offices in the Roundhouse building adjacent to the development with brief presentations and discussions from technical staff involved in the civil and related structural engineering and construction of the concrete framed building before proceeding for a walking visit to the site and superstructure.

Online booking is required.

There is no dedicated parking so public transport may be advisable!

Full PPE including Hi-vis jacket or waistcoat, Safety boots, Hard-hat, Safety Glasses and Gloves (disposable latex acceptable) is required for the walking tour.
