About this event

Are you a young engineer? A student, an apprentice or a graduate? Looking to develop new skills and improve the public visibility of how civil engineers transform the world and safeguard the future? Come and work with us!

Dr Steve Cross founder of Bright Club and Science Showoff will travel across Scotland helping to make engineers funny and give them a chance to share their work with new audiences in a humorous way. Engineering Showoff is here! Events will take place in Aberdeen. Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness.

Places are limited to 12 on these three hour workshops and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. The places are free but participants will commit to doing a minimum of three talks to a public audience of their choosing (school visit, local sports club etc) and keeping ICE Scotland informed.

This activity forms part of ICE Scotland's ICE 200 and Year of Young People Celebrations and will help get you ready to enter our Pitch 200 competition. The Scotland Final of Pitch 200 will be in front of a 200-strong crowd.
