About this event

Are you involved with excavation, drainage, service installation, or the construction industry?

If so, are you aware that every year many people are killed or seriously injured by collapses and falling materials while working in excavations. In 2017/18 16 workers were killed in Great Britain alone as a result of being trapped.

The Dorchester ICE City Club is pleased to announce that MGF Ltd will be presenting to its members in October. As an independent business MGF operate wholly on an in-house basis, they design, develop and manufacture their entire range of shoring equipment, providing in-depth product knowledge, flexibility to meet demand and the ability to undertake bespoke manufacture to meet customer requirements.

This event will focus on temporary works solutions as well we the latest developments in the area of Excavation Safety including:

  1. Current and the latest ground support systems.
  2. Ground risk – consequence of change – or simply getting it wrong!
