About this event

Taking steps to achieve the ultimate goal of improving the living quality for citizens, civil engineers face various challenges at different stages of a construction project, particularly in densely built environments such as Hong Kong and Taiwan.

While Hong Kong is relatively fresh in seismic engineering, Taiwan has mastered the skills to overcome threats to construction in a seismic active zone. The mature and well developed seismic engineering technologies enabled seismic engineers to develop cities in Taiwan and safeguard the lives and properties of the public from earthquakes with advanced engineering applications.

With the theme of "Resilient Infrastructures for Environmental Challenges", the coming delegation in Taiwan will focus on resilience and the application of innovative engineering technologies, from design to construction, in buildings and infrastructures for overcoming the increasing environmental challenges.

  • Sinotech Engineering Consultants Ltd.
