Alan Willoner
Alan is a Chartered Civil Engineer and Fellow of the ICE with over 20 years of experience in both the design and construction of geotechnical structures. His previous experience includes working for specialist Ground Investigation and Piling Contractors, Main Civil Engineering Contractors and Design Consultancies. He currently leads the geotechnical team in the Mott MacDonald office in Sheffield and leads geotechnical design elements of numerous D&B contracts throughout the UK and overseas. Alan is particularly enthusiastic about developing safe, sustainable, buildable and economic designs.
Jian Hao Chan
Jian is a Chartered Civil Engineer experienced in the design of geotechnical structures. After completing his MEng from Imperial College in 2016, he was primarily involved in the design of numerous flood defence schemes in the Yorkshire and Humber region. He is currently working on Foundations design for major assets on High Speed 2 Phase 1, including viaducts, overbridges and underbridges as part of the Mott MacDonald SYSTRA design joint venture. Jian is keen on developing practical and sustainable solutions for the built environment.
