Could you be called as a witness for your organisation on highway design, construction or maintenance?

This course will enable Delegates to experience as near to a real courtroom experience as possible. The morning session will consist of an overview about coroner's and judicial systems, procedures involved when giving evidence and techniques used in cross-examination. The afternoon will be a role play scenario, based on court familiarisation and cross-examination and subsequent discussions in one of the University mock courtrooms.

*Please note each Candidate will need to provide, and be familiar with a statement or brief report, relating to a closed case in which they and/or their organisation has been involved. This should be sent to the course organiser, Fiona Turner at by the 21 April 2017. Please let us know as soon as possible, if you will not be able to provide a suitable example. This is really important to get the most out of the course.
