Attribute 1 - Understanding and Practical Application of Engineering

Overview

Organised on behalf of the Ice North Wales and North West GSAT, this is a series of in-person workshops and networking for new engineers (including apprentices) and technicians working towards qualified ICE membership. These events will explore the knowledge level for each of the ICE attributes. 

The workshop will provide ideas and guidance for areas to explore for you to demonstrate the knowledge level for this attribute. There will be an overview of the attribute, opportunity for discussion as well as questions and answers.

By attending this workshop, you will gain a greater understanding of how you can demonstrate your knowledge of professionalism and the ICE Code of Conduct to your SCE, DE or mentor. You will be able to debate the attribute with your peers to increase your understanding of what it means in different roles or environments. The session will increase your understanding of the attribute and methods for demonstrating the knowledge level for your IPD.

The format will be:

• The ICE Code of Conduct
• Background information and learning/research hints
