We’ve all felt the chill of a phobia - whether it’s heights, spiders, going to the dentist or something else entirely. 

This session dives into the complexities of phobias to help you gain valuable insight and understanding.

Not only will you explore the nature of these fears, but you’ll also learn effective coping strategies to confidently face them head-on.

Emma Mudge BSc, PGCert, PGDip, MSt, GMBPsS

Emma is an expert in the mental health and wellbeing space with over 15 years of multifaceted experience. She is a team leader, psychological coach, trainer, teacher, consultant, and life-long learner; providing packages for large corporate, third sector, NHS and SME organisations.

Emma’s philosophy is the systems in which we live (the world, our brain and body) are complex, changeable, and personal. Increasing our self-awareness enables us to navigate the challenges of life in a meaningful way and helps us to flourish. Emma is informed by a variety of psychological theories such as Cognitive-Behavioural, Positive and Humanistic Psychology. Emma has a ‘know you can’ attitude and directs this towards her social justice work.

She is particularly passionate about body neutrality and positive body image, self-care, resilience and self-compassion. She enjoys regular mindfulness practice, being outdoors, walking, kickboxing and teaching weekly joyful movement dance classes in her local community.
