Overview
The Cross Tay Link Road (CLTR) is the biggest infrastructure project ever undertaken by Perth and Kinross Council. It will involve the construction of a new 3-span bridge over the River Tay and a six kilometer stretch of new carriageway linking the A9 and the A93 to Blairgowrie and the A94, just north of Scone.
A coach will leave Ingliston Park and Ride in Edinburgh at 14:00 to journey to the BAM site offices in Perth. Please aim to arrive 15mins before the departure time.
The guided site visit shall be provided courtesy of Innes Mackintosh, BAM UKs stakeholder and communications manager for CTLR, supported by local ICE Edinburgh Early Careers Network committee members.
Please note the spaces for the event are limited to 35 attendees. If you are looking to attend this event, please ensure you have registered online to guarantee your place! The event is open to all ICE members.
If attending the event, please ensure you bring steel toe cap boots for walking with you. If you have your own PPE please bring it with you. For those who don’t have PPE, it will be supplied by the contractor during the site induction as long as email [email protected] your size requirements by the 17 March 2024.
Please be advised that for this event unfortunately many parts of the site are not suitable for wheelchair access and it is a live construction project.
