Graduates and Students: One-Day Seminar 2022 - Project and construction management

Overview

Project management is vital in the design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructures. Strategic planning and execution of projects allow the clients, consultants, and contractors from different sections of the civil engineering industry to upkeep productivity, performance, quality, safety and budget of construction projects.

The theme of ICE HKA G&S One-Day Seminar 2022 is ‘Project and construction management - optimisation, collaboration and partnership’.

Speakers from various organisations participating in different aspects of project management in civil engineering projects will share insights and experience including the application of emergency response project management, application of digitalisation in the planning and design of underground engineering work, leadership and management skills in insight from Sanguo, modularisation and digitalisation on Bridge design and construction and optimization of project dispute resolution.

• Registration will be confirmed on a first-come-first-served basis upon receipt of payment, and priority will be given to ICE graduate and student members.
• Only successful applicants will receive confirmation e-mails, which will include payment method. Payment can be made by PayPal. Once confirmed, payment is non-refundable.
• Applications will be considered as completed only upon online registration and payment received.
• Attendees must wear their own face masks during the whole event. Face masks will not be provided.
• Participants will be required to use valid vaccine pass and the "LeaveHomeSafe" application to scan the venue QR code before they are allowed to enter the venues.
• Attendees will be required to take body temperature before attending the event.
• Applicants with no-show records will be given lower priority in future G&S events.
