Overview

For this seminar we will be joined by an Associate Director in AECOM’s Climate Change, Sustainability, and Resilience Practice, Renard Teipelke (M.A.) who will guide us through a perspective on the critical relationship between green finance and engineering in a context of climate change risks and opportunities.

A brief recap will be provided on how green finance standards have been defined and evolved over previous years. This will be linked to how such standards inform and interact with urban infrastructure development processes. Specifically, the session will highlight critical points in the infrastructure project cycle where green finance funding criteria and engineering decisions influence how far low-carbon and resilient investments can be realised.
